Measurement shunts

Réf. DIP-050

Measurement shunts from 1 to 6000 A for monitoring cathodic protection DC current. Default voltage 100 mV (50 or 200 mV on request), class 0.5 or 1.

Description

IPSI Solutions offers a complete range of shunts from 1 A to 6000 A for monitoring cathodic protection direct current. The voltage is 100 mV by default (50 or 200 mV on request) and the accuracy class 0.5 or 1.

The shunts must be installed horizontally, with the resistance blades placed vertically to allow natural air convection; the clamping bolts must be tightened to minimise contact resistances. At nominal operation, the temperature rise is about 120 °C; after one hour at full load, the blade temperature must not exceed 150 °C to maintain an accuracy better than 0.5%.
