EXFS L flameproof line spark gap
Réf. DIP-038
Flameproof lightning-protection spark gap (ATEX zone 2) for bridging insulating elements on pipes under cathodic protection. Lightning current 50 kA, IP54.
Description
This line spark gap provides the connection or indirect earthing of insulated installation elements during a lightning strike, as well as the bridging of insulating elements on pipe segments under cathodic protection. It complies with potential equalisation for lightning protection (IEC / NF EN 62305) in explosion-risk zones (zone 2) and with the ATEX directive.
Its die-cast zinc enclosure resists corrosion; it has a plastic cap and a flexible conductor connection, with a design withstanding very high loads. The EXFS L100 / L200 / L300 range offers a lightning current (10/350) Iimp of 50 kA, a nominal discharge current (8/20) In of 100 kA and a continuous voltage of 300 V (marking Ex II 3 G EEx nC II T4, IP54, certification ZELM 03 ATEX 3192X).
