Type AA4 flange insulating kit for high-temperature steam networks: isolant R central gasket (330 °C), silicone glass-fabric sleeves, isolant R washers, A193 B7 bolting.
Description
The type AA4 steam-network flange insulating kit is designed for high temperatures. Its central gasket is in isolant R (3 mm thick, compressive rupture strength of 250 MPa at 260 °C, temperature limit 330 °C), bonded with cyanoacrylate adhesive to two sealing gaskets in Klinger-Sil C4500 3XA (BS 7531 cat. X, 1 mm thick).
The insulating sleeves are in silicone glass fabric to EN 61212, and the peripheral insulating washers in isolant R (6 mm thick). The bolting (sizes 4, 5 and 6) comprises A193 B7 threaded rods (standard NFE 03115, DIN 50049 3.1 B) fitted with 2 A194 2H hex nuts and hardened flat washers DIN 6916 (300 HV).
