Monobloc insulating joints
Réf. DIP-118
High-strength monobloc insulating joints, factory-assembled and tested, to electrically isolate pipeline sections and improve cathodic protection. Non-dismountable, maintenance-free.
Description
Monobloc insulating joints are high-strength fittings used to electrically isolate pipeline sections, in order to improve the efficiency of cathodic protection systems. They reduce earth-loop currents and interference between the various CP systems. Supplied with pups matching the thickness and grade of the pipe, they are designed long enough to eliminate any thermal damage to the insulating components during on-site welding.
They are factory-assembled then subjected to hydrostatic tests and electrical tests at various manufacturing stages. Monobloc, non-dismountable and maintenance-free. The production covers high-pressure monobloc joints (water, gas, oil and petrochemical industries), low-pressure joints, joints for low/high-temperature fluids, acid services or conductive fluids, and flanged-end versions.
