MMO anode (coated titanium substrate) for the internal cathodic protection of tanks, rated for 20 years. Part of a complete system (rectifier, cables, electrodes).
Description
IPSI Solutions offers complete systems for protecting tanks, made up of an anode rectifier, cables and electrodes. The anodes most often used by the cathodic protection design department are the MMO anodes for tanks, made with an MMO-coated titanium substrate and rated for a 20-year service life.
As an example: the XH type has an active length of 230 mm, an active-part diameter of 25 mm, a 1" thread and a 20-year nominal current of 6.4 A in salt water (2.4 A in fresh water); the MMO CAP 350 (ROD type) offers an active length of 350 mm, a Ø of 25 mm, a 1"1/4 thread and 8 A in salt water (2.8 A in fresh water). The anode includes a head for connecting the anodic cable and a ceramic insulating the active part.
