MMO wire anode custom-assembled by IPSI for confined spaces and special shapes: boreholes, tank bottoms, suspended anodes, internal protection. Ø1.6 or 3.2 mm.
Description
The MMO wire anodes allow many configurable assemblies to suit the need; IPSI carries out the assembly on request and helps choose the solution. They are particularly suited to confined spaces or special shapes: internal and borehole cathodic protection, nozzles, tank bottoms, suspended anodes (water towers, reservoirs), transport pipelines…
Two references are available: the C005 (Ø1.6 mm, 0.009 kg/m, permissible current 0.05 A/m in soil and 0.5 A/m in fresh water/backfill, 20-year life) and the C006 (Ø3.2 mm, 0.036 kg/m, 0.1 A/m in soil and 1 A/m in fresh water/backfill, 20 years). The cable (length and type) is defined on request; protective sheath solutions are available to prevent anode/structure contact.
