Bagged electrode
Réf. DIP-194
Bagged reference electrode for highly resistive and free-draining soils (sand, gravel). Cu/CuSO₄, Zn/ZnSO₄ or Ag/AgCl, in an ABS tube and non-polarising backfill.
Description
The bagged electrodes are particularly suited to highly resistive and free-draining soils (sand, gravel…). The electrode is housed in a high-strength ABS tube, positioned in a bag with a specific non-polarising backfill.
Three types are available: copper/copper sulphate (CU-SAC-100, soils <200 ppm chloride, yellow cotton bag), zinc/zinc sulphate (ZN-SAC-100, soils <200 ppm, red bag) and silver/silver chloride (AG-SAC-100, no chloride limit, blue bag). The electrode measures Ø50 × 175 mm in a special backfill; the total bag dimensions are Ø150 × 350 mm. Note: anode backfill, which contains sulphur, is incompatible with a reference electrode.
