Permanent reference electrode Stelth 7
Réf. DIP-074
Borin Stelth 7 permanent reference electrode with coupon, for 'on/off' measurements without switching off interfering systems. Stability 5 mV over 30 years, all soils and waters.
Description
The Borin Stelth 7 permanent reference electrode (with coupon) was developed to take off-potential and on-potential measurements on a structure without having to stop or disconnect interfering systems (your own system's rectifier or nearby rectifiers, electric trains and metros, power transmission lines…), in order to measure only the worst individual potential present on the structure. Combined with the Bullet® Box IR Free interrupter, it allows measurement of the current needed to protect a coating defect.
It offers a service life of at least 30 years and an unlimited shelf life, maintaining a stability of 5 mV at a 20 megohm impedance over 30 years. It works in all types of soil and water, from dry desert soils to floodable and marshy areas, including marine and fresh-water environments. Reusable and removable, it weighs 1.4 kg at shipping for a 60 mm (2.25") diameter.
