Temcoat – anti-corrosion coating (microcrystalline wax)

Description

Temcoat and Temcoat 3000 are coatings based on high-temperature microcrystalline wax that do not melt and can be applied at ambient temperatures up to 93 °C. They require neither primer nor drying time and are easily applied by hand; Temcoat 3000 is designed to also be applied at low temperature.

They are used as anti-corrosion products for buried and outdoor surfaces: as cold-applied coatings with a complementary coating, or as a primer with Wax-Tapes. Their pasty consistency over a wide temperature range makes them excellent materials for filling voids, on straight pipes, irregular fittings or flat surfaces. Application: brush and scrape the surface to remove dirt and debris, then apply Temcoat by hand (with a high-temperature brush); on wet surfaces, rub and press firmly to push back moisture.
