Trenton PVC Outerwrap tape: additional mechanical protection for Wax-Tape® coatings, spiral-wrapped over the existing coating. No preparation or tools required.
Description
Trenton PVC Outerwrap tape requires no specific surface preparation and can be applied in a wide variety of environmental conditions. It is simply spiral-wrapped, with a tape-on-tape overlap, over the existing anti-corrosion coating, without any special tool.
Pipeline coating applications subject to high soil stress or mechanical impact benefit from an additional outer coating. PVC Outerwrap tape is a cost-effective solution that provides additional mechanical protection to Trenton's Wax-Tape® coatings (and other pipeline coatings). It is applied directly onto the surface of the Wax-Tape® anti-corrosion coating.
