Description
The EXFS 100 KU is an isolating spark gap to NF EN / IEC 62561-3 (IPSI ref. DEH 923101), intended for lightning protection in explosion-risk zones (zone 1). It offers a lightning current (10/350 µs) Iimp of 100 kA (withstand class H), a rated continuous AC voltage of 250 V (50/60 Hz) and an impulse sparkover voltage ≤1.25 kV.
Its operating temperature is -40 to +60 °C (mounting -5 to +50 °C), with an IP67 rating. The watertight injection-moulded plastic enclosure measures 123 mm × Ø34 mm; connection is by NYY-J 1×25 mm² cable (2 × ~2000 mm). Gas markings II 2 G Ex d IIC T6 Gb and dust II 2 D Ex tb IIIC T80 °C Db; ATEX (DEKRA 11ATEX0178 X) and IECEx (KEM 09.0051X) certifications.
