Description
The S30 X/C system is a fast, easy-to-use pin-brazing (stud-welding) device, with a capacity of 40 welds per charge. This small portable unit is specially designed to connect cables in cathodic protection and earthing installations. Electronically controlled, it is powered by 3 very high quality 12 V batteries, easily interchangeable for increased capacity.
The connection can be made at 360° on steel pipes; lugs or threaded rods can be brazed directly. It is very easy to handle and the cost per connection is low; the connections made are compatible with the IPSI coating-repair patches. Voltage 36 V DC, 40 to 60 brazes per charge, module weight with batteries 22 kg, dimensions 280 × 230 × 390 mm.
