Description
The resin-fill branch box (Y range) offers universal use to branch synthetic-insulated low-voltage cables (PVC, PE, XLPE, EPR — e.g. N(A)YY, NYM, TT), with or without concentric conductors, in copper as well as aluminium, for a voltage level of U0/U (Um) 0.6/1 (1.2) kV. Applications: indoor, overhead line, underground line, under water and cable runs.
It stands out with a large opening for easy pouring, high electrical insulation, absolute longitudinal and transversal sealing, high mechanical strength and good resistance to UV, alkaline soils and chemical agents. Compact, with high-quality shells (connection visible before pouring), it is simple to assemble and immediately operational, with a standard resin storable up to 40 months. From the Y3 box onward, the ring connector can be used. Compliant with DIN VDE 0278, EN 50393 and HD 623 standards.
