KYNAR cable (PVDF)
Réf. DIP-196
KYNAR (PVDF/HMWPE) cable with copper conductor, excellent chemical resistance (notably to chlorine) and underwater. Ideal for offshore CP, boreholes and anode beds. Sizes 10 to 35 mm², 0.6/1 kV.
Description
The KYNAR cables offer excellent chemical resistance, particularly in the presence of chlorine, and good underwater performance. They are well suited to offshore cathodic protection installations as well as boreholes and anode beds.
The conductor is multi-strand copper (7 strands), the insulation KYNAR (PVDF, nominal thickness 0.70 mm) and the additional sheath HMWPE, for a voltage of 0.6/1 kV. Available sizes: 1×10 mm² (DC resistance 1.83 Ω/km, 141 kg/km), 1×16 mm² (1.15 Ω/km, 202 kg/km), 1×25 mm² (0.727 Ω/km, 290 kg/km) and 1×35 mm² (0.524 Ω/km, 386 kg/km). KYNAR 10 and 16 mm² is in stock; larger diameters are generally delivered within 3 to 4 weeks.
