Magnetic lifter for opening manhole covers. Ultra-compact lightweight model (3.5 kg, neodymium magnets) or heavy-duty model up to 650 kg with a triple movable magnetic plate.
Description
The lightweight model is an ultra-light, ultra-compact manhole-cover lifter, ideal for quickly opening a medium or light metal cover of various sizes. At only 3.5 kg, it offers a significant lifting force thanks to neodymium-type magnets. The tool opens and folds with one hand, attaches very strongly to metal covers and detaches easily with a sideways tap. Its top handle (XT1) has a dual function: a lifting hook to grab cover slots (asphalted or non-metallic, where the magnet cannot be used) and, with its hard-steel sharp beak, a chisel to spread and break the incrustations clogging the slots.
A heavy-duty model is also available, up to 650 kg in optimal conditions: a universal magnetic lifter with a triple movable magnetic plate, ideal for linear manholes or those deformed or damaged by traffic loads.
