IP.UG1 cleaning pig Ø12" to 36" with a short body and two long-skirt cups (negotiates 1.5D bends). 360° stainless brushes and bypass; ideal for long distances in open country.
Description
The IP.UG1 cleaning pig (Ø12" to 36") is a short-body model fitted with 2 long-skirt cups that ensure efficient sealing and high durability, and allow bends from a radius of 1.5D to be negotiated. It has a polyurethane end-protection nose and high resistance to wear and abrasion. Stainless steel bristle brushes mounted on spring arms ensure 360° coverage; PU scraper shoes are available as an option in place of the brushes, and it includes a bypass function. It passes through full-bore and direct-passage valves as well as branches fitted with guide bars; the carbon steel body is coated with two layers of anti-corrosion paint.
It is a versatile cleaning pig, able to travel long distances in open-country pipelines.
