Small Proteus separation pig (rigid R or flexible F body, Ø2" to 14") with flexible polyurethane cups. For multi-product pipelines with multiple bends; negotiates 1.5D bends.
Description
The small Proteus separation pig comes in a rigid 'R' or flexible 'F' body, in sizes from 2" to 14". It is primarily intended for scraping multi-product pipeline systems with multiple bends. Its flexible polyurethane cups ensure maintained sealing, including in 1.5D-radius bend configurations.
The Proteus 'F' negotiates r = 1.5D bends, full-bore tees (with guide bars), full-opening ball valves and direct-passage valves. It can negotiate localised bore restrictions (dents) of up to 20%. No exposed metal part can touch or damage the pipe, valves or internal painted or coated surfaces. Spare parts are normally available from stock.
