Description
The IP.K3 cleaning pig has four polyurethane cups and a polyurethane end-protection nose; the PU mouldings are made in-house, with exceptional properties and chemical resistance. Stainless steel bristle brushes mounted on steel spring arms ensure 360° pipe coverage; polyurethane scraper shoes are available as an option in place of the brushes, and a bypass function is possible by special order. The 6" and 8" sizes negotiate bends from 3D, the 10" and 12" from 1.5D. The carbon steel body is coated with two layers of anti-corrosion paint.
It is used for pre-commissioning operations as well as for cleaning and swabbing pipes without stopping operations. Its long-body system, fitted with four cups, is articulated to ease passage through branches of the same diameter as the main pipe.
