Proteus pig Ø16" to 48" for multi-product pipelines with multiple bends, with flexible polyurethane cups. Convertible to stainless brush cleaning or shoe scraping (bolt-on kits).
Description
The Proteus pig is primarily intended for scraping multi-product pipeline systems with multiple bends. Its flexible polyurethane cups ensure maintained sealing, including in 1.5D-radius bend configurations. It negotiates r = 1.5D bends, full-bore tees (with guide bars), full-opening ball valves, direct-passage valves and gate valves. Its end-protection nose is in polyurethane, and no exposed metal parts can damage the pipe surface.
Available from Ø16" to 48", it comes in bolt-on kits: a stainless steel wire-brush cleaning variant (kit A) or a scraper-shoe variant (kit B). The kits include all the elements needed for conversion from the base pig (cup, brush/shoe, guide, spring).
