Description
These batteries make it possible to easily and cheaply turn a galvanic-anode system into an impressed-current one. The technology is ideal for low-power applications requiring a continuous supply over very long periods, with no maintenance or supervision: it is the only technology able to guarantee a service life of at least two years with no maintenance of any kind. Made entirely with non-flammable components and emitting no gas, they suit harsh climatic conditions, over a -20 to +50 °C range.
On the environmental side, the Cegasa formulation makes it possible to manufacture the battery with no polluting element: it incorporates no highly polluting heavy metal (no cadmium, mercury or lead), unlike other technologies. The 1.5 V batteries are available in several capacities: 1200 Ah (85×85×205 mm), 2400 Ah (216×108×226 mm) and 4800 Ah (216×216×226 mm).
