FAC100 decoupling cell: blocks the cathodic protection DC current between two structures while letting AC through. Nominal current 32 or 40 A AC. Non-ATEX.

Description

The FAC100 decouples two earthing systems: it blocks the cathodic protection DC currents between two structures while letting the alternating currents through. The nominal AC current is, depending on the version, 32 or 40 A.

The F100 AC filter consists of a 33,000 µF / 63 V capacitor bank, a steel enclosure 20 × 2 × 15 cm, surge protection and a 100 mV / 20 A measurement shunt with two plugs. As an option, it can be integrated into a measurement point and coupled to a box (HO7RN-F cable 1×10 mm² or 2×10 mm²). A versatile piece of equipment suited to harsh industrial environments, it is not usable in an ATEX zone (use the FAC200 or equivalent instead).
