Casing seal type FW

Description

The type FW casing seal is specially developed to provide pressure-tight sealing between the pipe and the casing. Moulded seamlessly in high-quality Rottolin, its 9 to 11 mm thickness makes it particularly dimensionally stable and pressure-tight up to 1 bar.

Thanks to its exceptional flexibility, it tolerates axial and radial movements between the pipe and the casing, with the annular space not exceeding 70 mm. An adhesive sealing compound with durable elastic properties is sprayed onto the underside of the sleeve, which is then fixed to the casing and the pipe with two stainless steel clamps. Before backfilling, the seal must be covered with foam pads.
