Description
The fibre-cement sealing sleeves are an economical and reliable method for ensuring hydrostatic sealing when pipes (steel, cast iron, copper or synthetic) pass through walls, ceilings or floors. Combined with modular sealing gaskets, they seal these pipes hydrostatically. The product is asbestos-free.
The material is an asbestos-free fibre-cement (cement and glass fibres, light grey), type A1 to DIN EN 13501-1. It is corrosion-resistant, watertight and dielectric, non-flammable, high-strength with good bonding to concrete, coatable, with an external peripheral groove (not spiral) and a smooth inner wall, and high dimensional stability. A 2-piece version is available for later fitting. Sizes range from DN80 to DN800, in lengths up to 1200 mm. The sleeve can be embedded in concrete, set into the wall or installed in a penetration with watertight mortar.
