DEC100 – decoupling cell
Réf. DIP-234
DEC100 decoupling cell for transport networks (SAFE environment): protects against direct lightning (100 kA) and blocks DC voltages. Holding current 20-60 A peak.
Description
The DEC100 is a decoupling cell specially developed for transport networks, suited to SAFE environments. It can be installed, for example, in a PMM200 box or any other type of box or cabinet. The DEC100 filter comprises a direct-lightning-strike protection system and a DC-voltage blocking system.
Characteristics: DC holding current of 20 to 60 A peak, lightning current (10/350 µs) 100 kA, operating temperature -20 to +60 °C. Connection is by two flexible HO7RN-V 1×35 mm² cables of 2 m (other cable on request) or two M8 screws. As an option, the DEC100 can be integrated into a measurement point and coupled to a protection box for use as an AC filter. IPSI's technical team (level 3-4 cathodic protection engineers) supports the sizing of mitigation and protection systems.
