The CIC is a GPS-synchronized current interrupter controller designed for permanent installation inside a cathodic protection transformer-rectifier, either on new equipment or as a retrofit.
Powered from the local mains, it delivers a 12 V DC signal to the rectifier relay or interruption input. Thanks to GPS synchronization, several rectifiers can be switched ON/OFF at exactly the same time, allowing reliable instant-off (IR-free) potential measurements along pipelines and buried structures.
