TMP20 temporary AC filter
Réf. DIP-223
TMP20 temporary AC filter for field testing: installed on temporary earths to measure AC interference on a pipeline. 20 A current (5 to 100 A on request).
Description
TMP-type AC filters are filters for carrying out field tests. Small in size, they can be installed on temporary earths (stakes, casing, railing, electrical earth…) and deployed along an entire pipeline to measure AC interference, with the temporary earths activated or deactivated via the switch. Their use helps identify the optimal locations for the pipeline's AC earthing systems. They are used for surveys on pipelines subject to AC interference.
The TMP20 comprises a 10,000 µF capacitor bank, an ABS enclosure 19 × 23 × 13 cm, 3 plugs for connecting a MiniLog2 or equivalent, a 25 A switch and a 20 A/100 mV measurement shunt. By default, the filters are designed for a maximum current of 20 A, compatible with the permissible current in 4 mm test leads; on request, temporary filters from 5 A to 100 A can be made.
