AA1 flange insulating kit, central gasket in bakelised fabric (DIN HGW2082). Available in PN20/50/100, classes 150#/300#/600#, up to large diameters.
Description
The AA1 flange insulating kit provides electrical isolation of a bolted joint. Its central gasket is in bakelised fabric to DIN HGW2082 (compressive strength 320 MPa, dielectric strength 1 kV/mm). The insulating sleeves are in bakelised paper to DIN HP2065 (8.3 kV/mm) and the G10 washers are suited to torque tightening; testing was carried out by CETIM.
The kit comprises a central part (bakelite < 90 °C, G11 < 120 °C or isolant R < 330 °C depending on temperature), two sealing elements in Klingersil® C4324 (1.5 mm thick), sleeves (bakelite, G11, silicone or Mylar®) and insulating washers (G10, G11 or isolant R). The kit's permissible temperature is governed by its weakest component.
It is available in PN20/50/100 and classes 150#/300#/600#, from small to large diameters on request. Tightening torque is not available for AA1 kits (AA4 kits are recommended for controlled tightening). Bolting is supplied by the customer.
