Description
The K2.1 electric brush is a coating fault detector (holiday detector) designed to reveal cracks, porosity, under-thickness and other coating discontinuities, internal and external, on metal products. A pulsed high voltage creates a spark at the exact location of the fault.
The output voltage is adjustable from 2 to 35 kV with a resolution of 0.1 kV and is displayed digitally, to inspect coatings up to 12 mm thick. The pulsed operating mode ensures a high level of safety, and the sensitivity is adjustable.
A wide choice of interchangeable electrodes covers the various uses: spring electrodes for pipes up to 1,620 mm in diameter, specialised disc electrodes for the internal inspection of pipes from 30 to 1,420 mm, and inspection of coatings on concrete and other conductive substrates. Compact and lightweight, the device offers up to 8 hours of battery life.
