A contractor for buried network protection
Protecting a buried network is not a one-off purchase. It is a chain of operations that runs from the initial survey to the annual measurement campaign — and each link calls for a different skill set.
IPSI Solutions covers that chain end to end: environmental surveys and design, supply of equipment, installation on site, commissioning, then monitoring and maintenance over the life of the structure. The same team that sized the system is the one that comes back to measure it.
That continuity matters more than it sounds. Most protection failures we are called in to fix are not equipment failures: they are handover failures between a designer, an installer and an operator who never spoke to one another.
What we do on your networks
Diagnostics and measurement
Potential measurement with synchronised interruption across the whole route, coating defect surveys by DCVG and ACVG, close interval potential surveys (CIPS), soil resistivity by the Wenner method, and verification of insulating joints. The output is a conformity assessment, not a list of readings.
Installation and commissioning
Anode beds, transformer-rectifier stations, measurement posts, insulating joints and bonding. Commissioning is where the design meets reality: it is at that moment that potentials are adjusted across the line, not only at the station.
Monitoring and maintenance
Periodic measurement campaigns, remote monitoring of rectifier stations, works supervision when third parties dig near your network, and instrumented pig tracking. Regulatory records are produced as we go, not reconstructed before an inspection.
