One-piece (seamless) inflatable spheres in high-performance polyurethane with thick walls, Ø3" to 36". One or two inflation valves depending on size; inflation set and pump available.
Description
The inflatable pipeline spheres are made from a high-performance polyurethane elastomer, with specially designed tooling that produces one-piece (seamless) thick-walled spheres. Small-diameter spheres (3" to 14") are fitted with a single spring-loaded inflation valve; the 16" to 36" sizes are made with two diametrically opposed valves. A sealing cap (with a recognisable hexagonal head) protects the valve against damage and dirt ingress and prevents inflation caused by the pipeline's high operating pressure.
The accessories needed for gauging and inflation are a multifunction inflation set (sealing-plug removal socket, filling tube, Schrader-valve removal tool) and a manual pressure pump with reservoir (pressurising capacity up to 15 bar, flow 250 to 300 cc per stroke).
