ACVG VM-510FFL+ equipment with hoop for fault detection on high-insulation structures (up to 2 MΩ). Locates cable and faults simultaneously, with depth and current.
Description
The ACVG equipment perfectly complements the other IPSI methods (DCVG, CIPS, attenuation…) for fault detection on structures with a high insulation value. The VM-510FFL+ with hoop detects earth faults up to 2 MΩ, locates the network (left/right arrows), detects the cable and faults simultaneously (forward/back arrows), and measures the line's depth and current.
Its rugged design includes a black-and-white LCD screen with automatic backlight and a watertight loudspeaker. The carbon-fibre frame is ultralight and suited to cable and fault detection over long distances; the housing is in injection-moulded ABS thermoplastic with stainless steel tips, for a weight of 1.92 kg.
